Livesense’s main businesses are Machbaito, Tenshoku Kaigi, and Tenshoku Draft, which account for around 95% of consolidated net sales. Of these, Machbaito (formerly known as Jobsense), which is the founding business, accounts for the majority of sales and has the largest number of personnel. Tenshoku Kaigi and Tenshoku Draft also contribute to profits, and the three businesses are the pillars of earnings at Livesense.

How we tackle social issues
Eliminate mismatch between job seekers and job openings
One of the main reasons a person looks for a part-time job is to get money quickly. However, the standard payroll payment cycle of end-of-month account closing with next-month payments creates a significant gap in achieving this. Moreover, the process of finding a part-time job is not an end in itself, so the time and effort required for finding work should be as minimal as possible. First, Machbaito will meet the needs of job applicants through the financial incentive of Mach Bonus and efficient part-time job searches based on optimized matching. In the future, we will take on the challenge of solving the problems inherent in part-time employment.

How we tackle social issues
Eliminate information asymmetries and mismatches in job changes
When Tenshoku Kaigi was launched in 2010, social media was not as prevalent in society as it is today, and there were only limited means to learn about what things were like at a company. Believing that asymmetric information in the job search process was a factor in the mismatches that occur when changing jobs, Tenshoku Kaigi has supported job applicants’ information gathering and decision-making by collecting and publishing company reviews as real information that is not available in what is officially published. Now that information gathering by means of reviews has become commonplace, in addition to reviews, information such as official company information, job openings, and information sent out by the company is also being enhanced on the site. Tenshoku Kaigi seeks to help more people achieve a satisfying job change.

How we tackle social issues
Remove unnecessary elements from the job change process and make it transparent
There are a lot of uncertain and inefficient elements within the current job change process. Examples include scout e-mails sent out simultaneously to hundreds of eligible candidates who match the criteria, annual salary offers based on age and gender items on resumes or current income, and annual salary offers that are finally revealed at the end of the selection process. Tenshoku Draft reviewed the job change process from the ground up with the aim of realizing a world where competence is rightly recognized. We enable highly satisfactory job changes with our original process and rules. This includes scouts with individual messages and annual salary offers, high-quality resumes that enable annual salary offers solely based on document submission, and a transparent selection process that discloses the status and amount of other companies’ scouts.

How we tackle social issues
Eliminating lack of information transparency in real estate transactions
For most people, a home is one of the few major purchases they will make in their lives. Because of this, however, not many people have experience or knowledge of buying and selling, so they often struggle with judging the good and the bad when making this pivotal decision. On the other hand, real estate companies make money by closing deals, so there is little incentive for them to pursue the consumer’s satisfaction and interests. As a result, there is still a structure in the real estate industry to profit from the knowledge gap and information asymmetry with general consumers. Progress on systemization and efficiency is insufficient due to legal regulations and industry practices. IESHIL has identified great challenges and business opportunities in this structure. We aim to solve structural issues in the real estate industry leveraging transparency and IT-based efficiency to realize more satisfying real estate transactions.

How we tackle social issues
“batonn” is a cloud-based service that aims to optimize the interview and selection process, thereby enhancing recruiting capabilities. Generally speaking, hiring interviews are conducted in closed settings, with many questions and judgments based on personal experience and perceptions. batonn records interviews and automatically transcribes them to ensure that the real interview details are recorded. The interviewer’s impressions are linked to video of the interview and the transcribed text, so the next interviewer can see them and make the interview more efficient and more attractive for the interviewee. At the same time, the records help companies improve their recruiting capabilities by aligning evaluation criteria and providing interview guidance.
